DINING OPTIONS
Sand City has an array of dining options, from sit-down dining to local bakeries, and fast-food chains such as McDonald’s, Five Guys, The Habit Burger, and Chipotle. The new dual-branded hotel (Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott) will feature two dining establishments, a bistro-style restaurant and a yet-to-be announced restaurant offering an upscale, sit-down dining experience.
SHOPPING OPTIONS
Sand City boasts two regional shopping centers in the Edgewater and Sand Dollar Shopping Centers. They offer both big box stores and locally owned businesses. Larger retailers including Costco, Target, Ulta Cosmetics, Total Wine & More, Ashley Furniture, and a Lucky’s Supermarket, along with many other smaller retailers and food service establishments.

The new dual branded hotel (Marriot Residence Inn and Courtyard) will have a grand opening on January 21, 2025. The hotel boasts 215 rooms, two restaurants, a meeting space, and lots of other amenities. The hotel property is located within walking distance to shopping, the West End District. and the coastal beaches.
Sand City also has 15 locally-operated short-term rentals available for booking via AirBnB or VRBO. In late 2026 or early 2027, the Wonderwall Boutique Hotel is anticipated to open. Located in the heart of the City’s West End District, the hotel property, which as permitted in early 2025, will offer six boutique-style rooms.
