THE HOPE CREW

The Public Works department is assisted by the Hope Crew: The crew’s main task is to pick up litter throughout Sand City. The crew walks the bike trails, city streets (heavy litter areas West Bay and Tioga at the beach access points), RR tracks, city common areas and right of ways. The crew carry their buckets and litter pick up sticks. When time allows, they sweep up debris in the streets where the street sweeper cannot access.
