PARKING TICKETS

Payment for parking tickets is due within 21 days of issuance. Payment may be made:

  • At the Records Desk, during business hours (M-F, 8am-4pm)
  • Mailed to us at 1 Pendergrass Way, Sand City CA 93955. Personal checks, cashier’s checks or money orders (US funds only) accepted. Please write your citation number on the check. Do not mail cash.
  • By credit card. Call the Records Desk during business hours (M-F, 8am-4pm) at (831) 394-1451.. Online payment is not currently available.

Unpaid parking tickets are subject to having a hold placed on the cited vehicle’s registration with the DMV.

To contest a parking ticket, download and complete the “Parking Violation Initial Administrative Review Request” and submit it to the Records Desk by mail, in person, or via email at sandcityrecords@sandcitypd.org.

To request a low-income payment plan, download and complete the “Indigency (Low Income) Claim Application” and submit it to the Records Desk by mail, in person, or via email at sandcityrecords@sandcitypd.org. Supporting documentation is required, as specified in the form.

Hardcopies of the Parking Ticket Initial Review Request and Indigency Claim Application are also available from the Records Desk.
